Can we submit to multiple prize categories?
Our team would like to make a game that would potentially satisfy the criteria for more than one category, although we understand that we can only win one category, but can we compete in more than one categories for the grand prize?

You certainly can! The prizes line up with judging criteria that the judges will use to score each project (no matter what you are shooting for). It will not hurt your scores if your project scores highly in multiple aspects.
